21st birthday in vegas! best places to go?

Im going to vegas next week for my 21st birthday (the day of an a few days after) and Im kinda tryin to make a mental list of fun places to go. Im going with my friends and my mom but none of us have been to vegas before. Ive heard of fremont street but what else is fun?! Also I heard you can get your name put on the list or get pes to different clubs from your hotel is that true?
