Comedians making anti-religion jokes?

Because they are comedians. Comedians make jokes to entertain, and usually to the religious people the jokes are made "out of ignorance." Unfortunately, comedians aren't taken seriously as public speakers, so even if the comedian has a great point the public is going to ignore it because of the fact that the point was presented as a joke.
