PERIOD PAIN! HOW DO I GET RID OF IT?
Hey, i know exactly what you are going through, but you can easily make your periods more bearable. Fatty, sugary foods make menstrual pain worse like cramps in the stomach and back so try cutting down on these type of foods before your period is due or altogether. Despite this, periods can still be painful so its time to leave the over the counter painkillers alone and go to your doctor for prescribed medication. There are stronger drugs specifically for this type of pain. Light exercise is also though to weaken period pain, even if its just a brisk or light stroll for 30 mins a day. Evening primrose oil is also a natural source that can be bought in tablet form. It is to be taken shortly before and after your periods and eases the pain. And of course, there is the hot water bottle which does actually work. The heat eases the pain. Rest it on top of your stomach or your back, wherever is painful. Heat pads are also available, especially if you are at/school work. They can heat for up to a few hours and no one will know you are wearing one.
