Has anyone ever stopped a woman from beating on a man?

I recently saw a video on youtube where a news show had a woman and man have a domestic dispute in a park. The thing is, they had the female as the aggressor, beating on her "boyfriend" (it was actually two actors). She was smacking him, verbally abusing him, pulling his hair, pushing on him, etc. 163 people ped and nobody did anything. Finally, a group of women called the police. So I was just curious, has anyone tried to intervene or stop a woman from beating on a man, when it was clear the man wasn't going to fight back or was just taking it? Or has anybody seen anyone try to stop a woman from beating on a man?
